I liked this heater a little more when I first got it than now. I ran it in the bow of my 36-gallon Aqueon for less than a month (trying to keep the tank temp at around 77 degrees Fahrenheit) and at first the dial wasn't accurate (it was off by a few degrees). It took me a bit of fiddling to find the right temperature, but once I had it it was set and not really fluctuating. The temp dropped a few degrees about a week ago, I adjusted the dial to match the temp and it worked fine for a while, but it's now down to 72 degrees, which is five degrees less than I'd like. Honestly, I'm not sure a five degree swing would be bad for my fish, but I'm concerned that I might eventually have a bigger temperature drop that hurts them, especially since I'm in the process of quarantine. some more delicate fish that will eventually go into 36 gallons. I've always used aqueon since I got into this hobby and I've never had any problem with the products, and I sincerely believe that this heater is indeed a good product, but I'm afraid I have a downside.
