Review on Stanley FMHT16145 Folding Hand Tools by Aaron Schultz

I do lots of useful jobs around the house and in several of my rentals. For my purposes I needed a general purpose armored chisel, high-impact, semi-compact (won't take up too much room on my tool belt (double bench grinder). After many comparison purchases, this Stanley folding chisel is the only product that meets all of my purchase needs. It was with great relief that I found out that the folding function of this chisel is NOT a gimmick. What makes this product really functional, despite its advantages of being light and compact, thanks to the use of high-quality plastic in the handle: a thick metal lock at the end of the handle. The only downside I could find with this chisel was that the position locking clip (indicated in my attached picture) is plastic and is in a hard to reach spot. various tools to repeatedly unlock the lock by squeezing/deforming the plastic clip until the holding integrity is no longer good. Therefore, I deduct half a star and give this quality product an overall rating of 4.5 stars!
