Good project ideas and takes single knitting projects into account (unlike the Basic Knitting on the Board book which I LOVE for double knitting instructions). ). But the actual instructions here are thin and not very well organized, most of them in boxes scattered throughout the book. It's more of a pattern book than a how-to book. From this point of view the book is good, although I still found it difficult to follow some of the projects. For example, in the felt bag project, there is no mention of making the other side of the bag. A small oversight, but little things like that add up.
