This device could save lives if power was ever lost to a critical medical device in the middle of the night. That's why I bought it. It's loud enough to immediately notify the whole house of a life-threatening situation. I see where some are complaining about it not resetting after power is restored OR it may be a false alarm etc. But one thing is for sure, if someone is in the house and this thing explodes they will hear it and react. For something more complex you have to pay a lot more money. I searched for hours to find something better. I have found nothing. We're thankful for any hint. There are several ways to improve this device. It's not ideal for everyone, but for now it fits my purpose.
