Review on Pressure 90 125Psi Compressor LF10A 4H 1 NPT1 4 90 125 by Jarod Berthelson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great and the design is flexible

I bought this switch for an old Campbell Hausfeld supercharged Craftsman air compressor that was made in the USA. The switch that came with the supercharger cut off at 135psi, which is higher than I needed, and loaded the supercharger to get the last 10 pounds. Since the derailleur would not adjust, I decided to replace it with a new 125psi cutout derailleur. I was hesitant to buy a Lefoo switch as an OEM replacement costs around $100. But I couldn't justify the cost of a used compressor that only cost me $200. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase knowing that if it was cheaply made or didn't work I could just return it. All in all, it's a pretty well-made switch. Yes, the cover is made of somewhat cheap plastic, but inside the mechanism feels solid. The four port manifold allows for a very flexible installation and makes it easy to add a pressure gauge, relief valve and regulator assembly. While it ran at 125psi as intended, it ran at 85psi instead of 90psi as advertised, too low for my needs and there were no instructions on how to set parameters. Apparently some devices come with an instruction label on the inside of the lid, which I didn't have. Luckily, in response to a question asked, another customer provided fitting instructions. Anyway, I was able to set the switch to turn on at 95psi and turn off at 125psi. Now it works great. So if I could rate it 4-1/2 stars I would, but considering the price and quality of the switch and the fact that it can be adjusted. Well, five stars guaranteed IMO. Time will tell how long the switch will last, but based on the quality and reviews from other reviewers and how often I plan to use it, I suspect it will last. If not, that's not a lot of money to spend, compared to $50-$100 or more for some other supposedly "more expensive" switches that haven't even gotten as many positive reviews. So yeah, right now I have no problem recommending this Switch. If anything goes wrong I will update this review.
