Hardware failure after 5 days
Days 1-3: Worked as expected. Day 4: The keyboard was exhibiting strange symptoms - sluggishness, lag, stuttering when pressing the right ctrl key, etc. Day 5: The UEFI/BIOS emits a loud beep on boot, indicating that the main HID devices (keyboard, mouse) were missing. When the GDM (Ubuntu) login screen came up, the keyboard and mouse were unresponsive.
