Recently got rid of the housekeeper, so now it's me. 4,000+ square foot home, full-time job, family, etc. My dust bag arrived today. I've been a dedicated Swiffer for a very long time. Oh damn no. NO WAY. Swiffer refills are expensive. So funny. At the end of the day, simply dust and clean. It should never cost you what Swiffer charges, but hey. Someone should probably pay for these nice commercials, but not me. I have read several reviews that the small tab in this kit breaks when an extension cord is used. There is no need to use an extension as all the other parts and parts are what I need. Even if I buy 5 a year it's still cheaper than the Swiffer gas stations are costing me. And yes, I bought a steam cleaner, so no more swiffer rags. Oh thanks to whoever created this kit. The long fluffy rag easily penetrates wine bottles, glasses and other items. The extensions and fittings are great too. The big plus of Swiffers is that you can just throw it away. Why would you want to do that? more garbage. I've already washed off one of the rags, dried it a little in the hot Florida sun, and now it's ready for further cleaning. I wouldn't put any part of it in the washing machine.
