Review on ๐Ÿ” Optimized for SEO: Visioneer RoadWarrior 3 Simplex Mobile Document Scanner for PC and Mac, USB Powered Travel Scanner by Lucas Salgado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cheap construction - died after one ride - AVOID

Took a RoadWarrior 3 to India for road work to scan receipts for expense reports and the occasional multi-page document. It worked sometimes but was inconsistent and shaky. Spent a lot of time scanning. When you come back from a trip, try again and find that the very thin (cheap) ribbon cable connecting the top half (white part) of the scanning unit has broken, causing the unit to fail completely. Wanted to like this product as the weight and size are good but the reliability and quality are very poor. Lousy, cheap ribbon cable and rotating design is the biggest Achilles' heel. The software interface was ok but not great with the Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop running Windows 7. I would not recommend this product if you want it to work more than once and travel a lot to remote locations where you need something stable is working.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Very expensive
