Less mess.: Fish and aquatic animals
Less mess because I didn't have to put the hose in the water to create suction. I've used mine on a 5 gallon and a 2.5 gallon tank. It worked great and I didn't have to take everything out of the tank to make room for the hose. The suction power was also perfect. I missed the ghost shrimp and it was swimming in the tube but I caught it just in time. He survived.
