I love this product but here's what I need to know. This is a durable product but expect some wear and paint chipping on the neck between the two body parts. These two pieces do not need to be twisted together as tightly as might be necessary. Hand washing is a must as it preserves the beautiful appearance of the product. If you use your coffee maker on a daily basis, it's a good idea to have a small cleaning brush with you, as espresso build-up in the corners will increase the bitterness of your drink. It is shaped and beautifully designed so that you can leave it on the stove top if your kitchen is small and space is limited.
