I returned them very quickly. 2 inch needles are inconveniently short. The 3 inch needles are so short that they are very uncomfortable to hold. The tips (pointed end) of the needle are too long for this size, leaving little to no room for stitches. The cables were fine. However, I prefer the standard red ChiaoGoo cable. The connection was very smooth, but it wasn't enough to make up for all the other issues I was having. The outer red and blue pouches are pretty ugly in real life, like one of those cheap drawstring backpacks you get at colleges. They also looked surprisingly cheap, with threads sticking out everywhere. I wouldn't normally complain about something like this, but when you're paying a luxurious price from such a prestigious brand, you expect a lot more attention to those little details. I could easily see these bags tearing or lightning threads weakening after a few months. The inner bags containing the needles were fine. It's more like a backpack strap material. It seemed solid and the clasp was good and secure, but they didn't hold the pins in place very well. When I opened them, there wasn't a single needle in the nest they belonged to. I didn't care about the look or feel of stainless steel. It looks quite battered and riddled with stains and blemishes despite being brand new out of the box. The tips of the needles are very blunt, which I usually like, but the shorty size just didn't suit me. I would like to see a narrower tip with a shorter tip. That may have made her more comfortable for me. The overall quality is much lower than I expected, especially as someone who has used and loved ChiaoGoo's red tip fixed strollers. I don't think I will ever get a replacement set from this brand again. Maybe they just need to start marketing this as a recycled backpack set.
