I carefully studied many types of travel golf club bags - soft side, partially rigid, fully rigid. I chose this one because the zipper can be fitted with a TSA approved lock. The SKB suitcase and similar had bad reviews due to broken locks and hinges so I figured it was the best option. The partially hard case was good for protecting the clubheads, but this case still doesn't provide adequate shaft protection. The problem is that part of the hard case barely protrudes over the top of my Sun Mountain C130 trolley. When I put my racquets in the travel case and pulled the handle, it was like the bag was hanging right there. So again, it doesn't look like this boot really protects the waves. While the internal dimensions were reasonable, I felt it would have been better if the length of the bag had been partially shortened to allow the partially hard shell to fully support the top 6-8 inches of the golf bag. Also, I read a review about how tight (or small) the grip is and what modifications a customer made to it by adding a rope. When I slipped my fingers into the handle to pull the case, my knuckles immediately scraped against the plastic cover. It may seem insignificant, but when you have to lug that travel case through the parking lot, up the escalators, through the terminal to the ticket office, it can have a huge impact on you. And the small tag on the bag fell off as it was poorly attached to begin with. I used this bag once and within 2 days of my return I sent it back to Kohl's - an authorized Revain returns center and they took it. no questions. All I had to do was give them my return code which I requested through Revain to return the item and Kohl's took it, packed it, tagged it and shipped it back to Revain/seller. Honestly, this was the bag's best feature - and it's a Revain feature, not a Caddy Daddy feature! Remember that most airlines allow you to check in bags up to 80 inches (LxWxD) and 40 pounds. This bag weighed less than 9 pounds - others, like the Samsonite hard-shell bag, weigh around 18 pounds, so you may need to limit what you pack in your travel case to stay within weight limits. Yes, some airlines allow overweight bags for a higher fee, but most allow oversized bags (over 80 inches) for free. However, keep in mind that some airlines have strict dimensional requirements as anything over 80 inches is no longer considered baggage but cargo and will cost you more!
