Mold in bite valve on outdoor sports and recreation equipment
I like the idea of this water bottle: waterproof, attaches to a carabiner, etc. I've cleaned this bottle regularly with used dish soap and got into the bite valve regularly. One day I noticed what looked like black mold in the bite valve. I used bleach and was able to remove it but it took a lot of effort. I suggest buying a cleaning kit from the "frequently bought together" section. I realize this was partly my fault as I probably didn't clean the bite valve well enough. This is a good design that could be improved.
