Stop crackling
The first one I bought made a ticking and crackling noise so I sent it back and got a replacement which was fine - no crackling. It's in a cage mount, which I scaled down to fit closer to the top screen. Provides excellent and even heat connected to a thermostat for my leopard gecko.
