Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ Giantarm Printer Filament: Unmatched Dimensional Accuracy for Additive Manufacturing by Matthew Aiono

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good quality, white thread and economical.

I bought a roll of 1.75 white filament and printed some functional parts. This is listed as 190-220 but I used 225 which was set in the Cura setting I used for other threads. My results were very smooth and adhesion was excellent. It was so good that the supports I used couldn't be easily removed, if at all. I reprinted the same part on 205 and there were no issues with the coasters and the part still looked good and the adhesion of the layers stayed strong. One of the most important promotional points is to avoid tangling the reel. So I took it along with another spool of a different filament brand, opened both up and just tossed the spools into the bin on some cotton paper and then played ball a few more times with each spool. The Giantarm had slightly better grip on the shaft, but not like this much as i expected. I don't usually have any unwinding issues during use. I also tried bending the thread of each with my fingers and the Giantarm felt stiffer and broke after 3 folds. The other brand also broke. I then printed a pair of identical rods about 1/8" thick and 1/4" wide from both filaments and compared them at the bend and they were both quite strong and very similar to something I made manually couldn't identify. that I will use and recommend this thread. The results I got and the cost make it easy for me to decide. I had no negatives during my review or during the prints I've made since.
