The rug was well made with fine handmade quality, definitely not factory made and that's the kicker; My wife liked it so he stayed. However, the lack of a zoom option, as one lady cited in her review as a reason for not buying, was 100% correct; The color in the ad was different from what you actually received. After comparing the printed photo of the advertising carpet with the original, the difference was convincing. I was expecting a muted pale gold green with worn patterns that we saw in many oriental rug shops selling for thousands more. What we actually got is a beautiful rug with a brown background in the center square bordered by a light grey-blue background border with vibrant reds and greens. Very attractive but not what we expected. My wife was delighted that this gave her a reason to buy new curtains in our common room. Whether the zoom feature was left out on purpose to increase sales is debatable, but it worked for us. Like all things new, the carpet had some ink and dye application that can be softened by airing the carpet in a clean basement or garage for a few days. Bottom line, while we got our money's worth of downhill mats, it wasn't quite what we expected.
