Very easy to install as my car came with a factory tow kit. Just tuck under the dash and two mounting screws. Very easy to understand instructions. Saved settings make it easier to switch between a loaded and an empty trailer. Proportional braking is easy to set up and works exactly when you set it right. I even set the background color to green for my unloaded follower settings and blue for my loaded settings so I can check with a glimpse into the night. UPDATE: I've had it for 5 months now and the up and down buttons are sticking so I have either max or min brake tension. Everything worked perfectly for four months, and now it is impossible to use the buttons. It was a 5 star item now 2. I hope to be able to return it. I will post all updates.
