Review on ACDelco GM Original Equipment GT329 Fuel Tank Filler Cap: Reliable and Stylish in Black by James Broome

I recently bought a 2012 Cadillac CTS. When I first filled up, I found that the gas cap was some sort of aftermarket product that didn't seem to close properly. Also, the cable that attaches the cap to the door was irregular in shape and just glued. Since an ill-fitting gas cap can be a problem (like a check engine light coming on), I ordered this cap as a replacement. The shape of the cable is perfect (no sticking) and the cap is perfectly tight, as you would expect from an original part.
