Non-automatic is best for manual fuel pumps
By non-automatic I mean that as soon as you start pumping fluid from a higher tank to a lower tank, it will stop flowing on its own. You need to keep squeezing the pear. Wondering if a backflow preventer in the bulb will prevent this - not sure. But I have used many siphons earlier in my life and once you get them to flow they will continue to flow as long as the source tank is higher than the destination tank. It doesn't happen here. Been trying for a while.
