The ratcheting action is smooth and they are very good for tight spaces. I personally find the 1/4" ratchet very useful for replacing TPMS kits when they need to loosen torx screws as it saves time compared to a regular 1/4" ratchet and the 1/2 "Drive is handy for removal and insertion on these screw caps with faux nuts. The socket release knob works well for this, but not much grip to turn it to change the direction of the ratchet; you pretty much have to push the ratchet into something already .I'll probably just get some tape and it will be ok but the grip on the wheel part is spot on and the ratchet moves easily.Zeus arm/tendon strength They are designed for and handle low/medium torque applications very good.
