They are simply neat! They snap both ways and provide enough leverage that I prefer them to longer-handled tools that offer more torque. They are well made, seem durable and should last for years if not the rest of your life. I love them so much I bought two more sets, one for my son who is an auto mechanic and one for my son in law who is an electrical engineer. big enough that I don't mess with them. I like the color coding too.

You won't use them all the time, but they come in very handy when you encounter situations when you need to remove a screw in a very tight place. For example, I used one recently when I broke a bolt with a conventional ratchet, but since it was in a tight space I had about -1 degree ratchet rotation. This allowed me to lower one of them into a tight space and loosen the rest of the screw with ease.

The ratcheting action is smooth and they are very good for tight spaces.
