For seven dollars a decent monocular telescope

Not a bad option for the money. If you want something that works well, that you can throw in your backpack or bag and not worry about it breaking, this can help. There was hair in the internal optics or something, but for $7 I wasn't expecting Nikon quality. Whether you want something low and dirty or want to keep the kids busy for a while, this could fill the bill. Much luck!
