Well I kick myself for not researching this monocular better, it doesn't even have a better zoom than my Android phone, crazy as it sounds, and it doesn't work very good in the dark or when the road is not lit. I will not be sending it back I will just write it down as a loss and hopefully I've learned my lesson.

Not a bad option for the money. If you want something that works well, that you can throw in your backpack or bag and not worry about it breaking, this can help. There was hair in the internal optics or something, but for $7 I wasn't expecting Nikon quality. Whether you want something low and dirty or want to keep the kids busy for a while, this could fill the bill. Much luck!

Bought to photograph birds in the yard. In order to align with my phone's camera, the clip needs to sit right where my power button is. Also, it takes a lot of effort to even attach the clip to my phone. Once it's on, the weight of the monocular pulls the end down. This causes it to shift and no longer align with the phone's camera. I am an avid garden bird watcher and whilst I have some very good binoculars it would be a bit of a hassle to carry them around when mowing the lawn etc and I don't want to inflate them. Although this monocular is a bit larger than I would have liked, it comes with a belt pouch so I can carry it around with me without any inconvenience or worry.
