Everything fits. This was important because my (ryo) grinder motors didn't fit that 3.5 inch limit. The HF DrillMaster is perfect (3.45), the vertical travel is a good 3 inches. I should make a chart before reporting the rest, but the top of the lift has spring adjustment in both directions and the lift action is really smooth. The knob was initially difficult to turn, but it turned out that the crank bolt was overtightened; loosen something. Addendum: works great. I have used many table concepts from YT DIY Montreal. Worth seeing, write down, imitate.
