I've spent way too much money trying to find the perfect organizers for my various tools and the problem with most of them is what they're for do it for looks, not for functionality, with huge slots that fit the biggest hooks, or satin interiors from which all hooks fall out with a clang when picked up. This one is my favorite because it holds all my needles except the extra large ones, it zips up to store everything in it, it fits into a lovely little drawstring bag* that I use for my patchwork crochet projects, and (this one is hard to tell from the photo) the cover looks like real handmade ikat from Guatemala, a nice touch for those of us who love handmade fabrics. * Railroad cases - some of them quite small - have been a hot item as GWP at various beauty retailers for the past few years. The one I got recently became the best small project promoter I have. It's small, vinyl, and well made, although I don't really care about the contents, I've found that it holds a large skein of yarn no matter what area of my knitted or crocheted bedspread I'm working on -Organizer, small sharp favorite scissors in a leather case, a thick little maneki neko (lucky cat) bag containing a bunch of small accessories, and there is room for more. Here's a link to one I bought (Benefit Snow White And The Huntsman (tm) - Rare Beauty Kit) although I think it's a bit pricey for what you get unless you are crazy about benefit. (The pattern on the vinyl is very subtle and doesn't scream movie promo. If you search, you'll find a tree, a queen's crown, a (poisonous) apple, a heart, etc.) a little more, for quite a bit less money, although I don't have it : Ecotools Alicia Train Case (color may vary). (I plan on buying it and trying it out, and will remove this link if it turns out it doesn't fit.) I mention the last two points because this little hook bag is perfect for small bags, and I adore those little railroad bags , which are great for storing multiple small projects (or projects that can be broken into smaller parts), visually separated and easy to grab. for significantly less money, although I don't have one: Ecotools Alicia Train Case (color may vary).
