The switches are wrongly wired at the factory. Just carefully disconnect all the wires and plug them back in in the following order: There is another connector, probably brass or copper. Black goes there, red goes next and yellow last. Red and Black go to power (battery, whatever). Yellow goes with whatever you include with black. Black is negative, red and yellow are positive. Learning curve aside, they're good switches and easy to install in the same hole size as the cigarette lighter hole, so they're pretty versatile. These aren't high-end switches, so don't expect that either.
