We've had these for 6 months now and I love them so much I can tell you this makes a great set for myself or as a gift for someone else . I couldn't be happier with this set, I would definitely buy them again. Very happy with this purchase, I think the price is really good for the quality and quantity of the knives and I have found a lot of value in this set in the time I have had it. I bought these for my partner who wanted a black/metal look but I wanted really high quality knives that needed to work well and be easy to maintain - all delivered up front! I think they look great and they are insanely sharp and I don't see any rust anywhere. I'm a big fan of Cuisinart products and I'm so glad these knives haven't let me down. I think they are pretty light and it took me a while to get used to them, but now I really appreciate this feature. I hand wash them and pat dry and they hold up great. Last night I peeled a whole lemon with a small curved knife and I am very impressed with this particular event, both in terms of the process, the equipment and the results. I recommend anyone picking lemon peel to grab at least one of these knives and make a damn impression like I did. I haven't boned them, but I seriously doubt they'll let me down. I love the steak knives that come with the set and love that it's not those crappy black plastic handles that are only there to open boxes, disappear and never be available while eating. There's just so much to fall in love with here.
