I have a 350mm Momo Mod 78 suede steering wheel on my endurance race car, a 2200lb Miata 1990 with electroless steer. I was hoping to put the same thing in my race/everyday car, a 2000lb 1997 Miata with a non-powered steering rack. I used a 320mm NRG leather and suede sport steering wheel, which I felt was too small to maneuver in parking lots. When I decided to pull the trigger the Mod 78 wasn't available anywhere in the US (some weird delivery issue with Momo) so I ordered the Mod 88. I'm glad I did! The main difference between the Mod 78 and this Mod 88 is that the Mod 78 is perfectly round. The Mod 88 has a D-cut at the bottom, but unlike most D-wheels, the D-sides are flat on 6-9 hand positions. This means the top of the handlebar is round, but you get those corners and straight bits around the bottom of the wheel. This gives me more leverage on the steering wheel when I need to turn the wheel harder than on the freeway, which makes low-speed parking much easier. One reviewer complained about the suede, but probably didn't realize that you need to take care of it, but do scratch it lightly with sandpaper from time to time.
