Review on πŸš— SoundBot SB360 Bluetooth 4.0 Car Kit: Hands-Free Talking, Music Streaming, USB Charger, Magnetic Mounts & Aux Cable Included by Chris Edgerton

The easiest way to add bluetooth to your car!

The thing is great and exactly what I was hoping for. what would you connect the SB360 to). This is handy as my current one only had a 2.1A port. I had to switch cables when I was out with my wife and kids and they wanted to charge their iPhones. Now I have both cables and they are ready to go. I have a Prius that shuts off the ports when the car is off. When I turn it back on, the SB360 powers on and installs in seconds. The music from my phone plays as if it is not turned off, immediately after turning on the car. No more connections! Another advantage that is not explicitly mentioned is the increase in volume. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge - the sound from the DAC from the 3.5mm jack is pathetic and weak. At full volume [my car radio], the audio was mostly quiet at highway speeds when connected to the 3.5mm audio jack. But with the SB360 it uses Bluetooth digital channels and the sound is great now! The audio I used to get at full volume is now at 70% on the SB360. There's another benefit: I don't have to turn up the volume on my phone every time I unplug the audio cable like I used to, that was a hassle. There are a few small negatives, but enough to keep me from giving it five stars. :one. The male end of the SB360's built-in audio cable is either slightly shorter (or slightly thinner, if possible). It seems to weaken when plugged into my machine's audio port, and sometimes it cuts out. This has also happened to my aftermarket audio cable, but very rarely. If something goes wrong, an easy fix would be to get an adapter (3.5mm to 3.5mm jack to male - if you have one). I haven't tried it on anything else though, so it might just be the audio port on my Prius.2. Because the SB360 is connected to a car charger, I hear the typical charging sound. Previously this only happened when I plugged in the audio cable while the phone was charging. However, the SB360 is not as loud. However, you can actually hear it on piano or slower tracks at lower volumes, and it's annoying. That's not bad for 90% of the music you listen to, from normal to high volume, though. The side benefit is that you can charge your phone while listening to music and since it's already there (and you're probably used to it by now) it doesn't bother you at all. While this isn't a big deal when listening to music, it can be annoying when making calls. It could very well be just my computer - it could have noisy ports - I'll have to try this on my wife's computer to see if I get the same results. That's it - very happy with the purchase, I will be buying one for my wife!
