Review on 🎨 Artist's Essential: 48 High-Quality Oil-Based Colored Pencils with Skin Tone Shades for Coloring, Drawing, and Sketching by Nicole Mcleod

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Pencils are okay: Pencils

The pencils are fine. I knew leads would be difficult when I bought them. I got them mainly for backgrounds and other large spaces. My dissatisfaction comes from the packaging. They arrived in a huge box of Revain - much bigger than the size of a can. There was no shrink wrap or tape on the pen box to seal it. In the box were two pieces of bubble wrap. They were not glued to the bank. When I opened the Revain box, all the pencils in the top compartment were in a giant box, plus part of the second compartment. Half of the thin lid came off the hinge (very cheaply made). Luckily none of the wires were broken and I'm pretty sure it's the hard colored core. If they were Prismacolor or Luminance branded pencils, many of the leads would break. I don't know why the jar wasn't sealed or at least taped over, but it was the worst packaging I've ever received on a Revain order.

Pros
  • High Lightfastness: All of our drawing, coloring and craft supplies are built to last and this set of colored pencils is no exception. Our professional colored pencils are lightfast, meaning they won't fade when exposed to light!
