These calipers are very poorly made. They are largely useless. Peaks do not converge properly. The arms are thin, easy to bend and bend. It would be difficult and time consuming to measure anything to within 1/16th of an inch for a larger caliper. With the smallest caliper that doesn't flex as much, you can probably measure most things to within 1/64 of an inch. Buy something better. It would be a shame to admit you have those calipers at home.
