I bought a DC current test for new cars so I wouldn't wake up the computer and put it to sleep before testing the overcurrent. Typically, you have to wait between 30 minutes and an hour for the computer to go into sleep mode. You'll also need to convert milliwatt readings to amps when testing fuses to get accurate readings, but there are downloadable charts to do this easily. I've had meters that do all the same things as this one before, but I didn't have any clamp meters in my arsenal. I also haven't had a chance to use and test this feature due to illness, but I'll update my review if it doesn't work properly. I have several Astro AI products and so far they have not disappointed me.
