It is important to have self-adhesive numbers (3 inches high) and letters (2 inches) to apply to the mailbox and it is useful to apply them before installing the mailbox because then it's much easier. There is a nice flat surface on each side designed for these stickers. It only takes four screws to attach the mailbox to a standard wooden post as there is a pre-drilled plastic channel underneath making this really easy. You can attach a yellow flag to either side and a plastic cap that snaps onto the other side. I found this mailbox easy to set up. It's practical and looks good. I've had one of these for years (at least 20) but the numbers and letters on it were starting to peel off and I figured it was time to replace it with beauty.
