I bought this multimeter because my old multimeter didn't have a capacitor tester. I used it to test an HVAC fan start capacitor that was noisy on start. It measured 11uF instead of the nominal 15uF, indicating it needs to be replaced. I also tested a pair of 10uF electrolytic capacitors that were known to be good and measured 10.24uF and 10.42uF. I also tested the 100uF and 470uF electrolytic capacitors and got good readings. I read the short but well-written manual and tried the different functions (charge tester, voltmeter, resistance, non-contact voltage) and they worked very well too. It also offers a display hold function, a display backlight that can be turned on and off, and an auto-off function that can be turned off. Overall this is a very good product for the price.
