Review on 🔧 Gates Engine Timing Belt Kit TCKWP312 with Water Pump by Patrick Pearson

I bought this timing belt and water pump in 2014 with 198,000 miles on it. I replaced it due to a water pump leak in 2018 at 255k. I don't know if I can blame the pump entirely because I had a stuck thermostat and the engine overheated right before the water pump failed, so I don't know if that was the cause of the premature seal failure. Overall, the water pump, tensioner and timing belt were as easy to install as you would expect. The fit and functionality of the product look high quality and fit perfectly. If I have to replace it again after 311,000 miles I feel like I got my money's worth. If this error is related to the water pump, then I would definitely buy the water pump separately.
