The old Winch began to die, a lot of broken sectors. By the way, the same WD but at 650GB worked as the main one for almost 10 years. I bought this one, according to reviews it looked better than other competitors. When connecting, there was a problem, the computer did not want to start. Ie I connect all the connectors, I press the power buttons for a second, the fans start and it cuts off! You can restart it only after turning off the network button for 30 seconds. Fired up on the second try. And so it was every inclusion, that is, the computer started only on the second attempt. I checked the PSU (300W), replaced all the capacitors, the voltages are normal, it works without problems with the old two hard drives, with this one only on the second attempt. As a result, I bought a new 350W PSU, but with improved characteristics, i. E. the outputs are larger than usual in amps, and it started to start perfectly. That is, the starting current of the old one was not enough and the protection worked. Otherwise, there are no problems so far, let's hope that it will last no less than the old one. In addition: Unfortunately, he died after 1.5 years, smart error and broken sectors, 2-year warranty, exchanged for a new one, attempt No. 2, reviews are not better for others in this segment, you can see the trend, the quality is falling.
