Mixed bag for the price.
Poorly made set. When you receive these types of tools, they are usually either untouched, ready to use, or completely unusable and need to be prepared to work. This set falls somewhere in the middle. You don't need to sharpen them out of the box - they have a shiny bevel. BUT the corners are uneven - so I still need to re-sharpen and then re-sharpen. The steel is good, the grips are good. The finish is not very good. Nonetheless. Considering the price of this set I would probably keep it anyway and polish the blades. For beginners
