I always liked this material even when it was called Duro Extend. If directions are followed, rust (on steel) will turn into an inert black substance which can then be primed and painted. And while I'm using it, the corrosion doesn't come back easily. (Remember rust never sleeps so it will come back eventually no matter what product you use. I have to say my experience with the clear aerosol version of this product is pretty dismal. It works the same as the white milky liquid in the non- aerosol version .
