The Vantrue S2 was easy to install and the cables were easy to hide along the interior of the car for both the power cable and the rear camera cable. I found that the double sided tape pads were adequate to secure the cameras to the glass and there were two extra pads in the box is I needed to remove the camera at any time. Also included was a plastic spudger to carefully separate the tape from the glass if I needed to remove the units.The touchscreen was responsive, and I only had to press twice just several times for it to register my button presses and make the selections. The screen was bright, and the resolution was high enough to see all three video feeds well enough. Night vision was strong in the cabin and easy to see all passenger. There is also a button to cycle through the feeds as fullscreen separately on the cam.The Vantrue Cam phone app was quick to connect to the camera once you set it in WiFi mode. Once connected you are able to view the live video feeds, the recorded videos, as well as access the menu items to make changes if needed. Each camera creates it own video files with audio so you can see the full frame of each camera separately.I opted for the Vantrue 10ft Type C USB OBD Hardwire Charger Cable so that it doesn’t take up a power port on the dash. Once connected, it’s a very seamless install. I also used several 90 degree USB-C adapters to finish up the cabling and make everything fit snugly at the top of the windshield.Overall, I’m very please with this dashcam and look forward to years of use.
