Vanture produces real good dashcams - but this one is a huge blunder in QUALITY, particularly it's ability to sustain in temperatures beyond 88F. Yes, i had practically tested and proved this, as I even got a replacement for this same and that too ended up having the same issues, whenever the weather went >88F. It simply SHUTSDOWN, won't record/monitor anything. It won't start till your car's AC makes the inside temperature good enough for it to accept. I didn't use any test environment, during my regular day-2-day life parked car in open parking for 20-30mins, coming back to find it's shutdown. My dashcam settings were perfect, i even had a ticket with Vanture support.but they never helped, rather unprofessionally only mentioned.they'll get back after their own field test to find if my mentioned issue they can reproduce.Due to their delay in helping, and assuming I might have got just a bad batch, i initiated a replacement. The replaced one too showed same symptoms for days > 88-90F.Their product description for this item "can operate in extreme weather conditions from 14°F to 158°F, ideal for extreme hot-weather.".is a big joke, forget about 158F, it can't sustain 90F (as of the ones I got in JUL-AUG'22).Two more points: based on my experience, I think it's night vision recording is not good, I found it to be recording total dark videos, N4 model does much better. Lastly, it's USP of the WIFI, is not atall an advantage, rather an headache as the WIFI function doesn't remain active always, one need to manually enable it before everyuse and it's connectivity is not always consistent.But as I mentioned Vanture does produce otherwise good dashcam, I switched to N4 3 channel, and yes it never died even when I got day temperatures of 109F and it's still going good!
