It often works (but not always).
This is one of the products to look out for. It's good if the sealant nozzle allows you to properly put on a small adapter. This was the case about half the time. It's good if you have a latex seal that can be washed off with water, because after use you can clean the adapter. It works if you can't tank it; You can keep the adapter in place without too much trouble, and it's cheap enough that you'll have to drop it, well, that's okay. If you know your limits and can work within them, it works great.
