There are several things I like about this product. It comes in a pack of two, which is good because that way you can test their reliability by seeing if they give you the exact same measurements. They do! I also like how easy they are to use. Just press the power button, submerge it in water up to 2 inches deep and see the readings. I just installed a new reverse osmosis system two days ago and have been using TDS meters to test the water coming out of the new system (18ppm), water coming out of the old system (13ppm), water coming out of the comes from the tap (254 ppm) and refrigerator water (87, after reverse osmosis, but also after the refrigerator's own activated carbon filter). This is all very useful to know.
