Review on Grill Tefal Optigrill+ XL GC722D34, steel by Momchil Vasilev ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

I have attached a picture that shows an approximation of the preparation as well as the type of product that was made below! Steaks, corn, and grilled cheese sandwiches (Sernur halumis) are on the menu.

Pros
  • In a nutshell: this is a fantastic grill! Both of the panels can be removed, making cleanup after cooking a breeze! Even a regular, soft sponge from the grocery store soaked in any kind of detergent will do. Automatic programs are quite helpful since they allow you to select an alternative from among the available options. For instance, using the "bacon" program, you are able to flawlessly fry virtually any vegetable. Made to a high standard, it does not have any aspects that give the impression of being inexpensive. Because of its size, the large model GC722 makes it possible to cook three to four steaks or vegetables for a party of two to three people without any problems. The fact that any extra fat drains into the pan that is situated in front of the grill is quite convenient, but there is one little drawback to this design that I will discuss further down in the section under "Weaknesses." I purchased the grill from a reputable internet retailer at a price that was greater than -12022 lira; hence, there is no reason to purchase it from a retail chain shop for 20220 lira or more! You don't need to worry too much because Tefal provides a full guarantee for two years, but the most important thing is that there is a check! And so it is a perfectly fantastic grill; nevertheless, I can't say that the price of 12022 justifies its appearance in the kitchen. Having said that, if your budget allows you to make such a purchase, then there will surely be no unpleasant emotions from it!
Cons
  • 1) All things considered, in general, my kitchen is by no means cramped, but it does take up a respectable amount of room! But I made a separate spot for him in the closet, so it doesn't really get in the way any more, even though the size is still the same! 2) When the fat and juice drip into the pan, it splashes a bit on the lower iron section of the grill, leaving drops and traces there. It is easy to wash after use, of course, but if you leave it (or don't notice them) for 2-3 days or more, then it dries up and wash becomes more difficult. 3) The kit does not include a spatula or tongs; in fact, the only thing included is a dish for collecting fat and juice. With that amount of money, it would be possible to improve things, at the very least! 4) The kit does not come with a specialized brush or brush that can withstand high temperatures, which makes it difficult to clean the surface of the plates so that it is free of juice, grease, and other remnants of use.
