A bit weak, which is annoying. It works well, but as I said, it breaks easily. One thing that can be helpful is to buy a silver marker and "paint" the arrows so it's easy to figure out how to connect them. However, do not pull on the speaker or microphone. In a pinch we were able to solder the microphone. Now all we have is a pair of extra headphones. I wish there was an alternative that would work with our radios. :(
