I've got really crappy headers and I've been blowing out gaskets like crazy. So disappointing. A friend recommended her and I never went back. You install them, tighten the screws and you're done! You can tighten the screws if you want, but they NEVER move. I've put about 20,000 miles on my 401 with these pads and never had an accident. They also fit perfectly on the original AMC connector with a crease so you can adapt the connector to them, unlike other manifold gaskets which are slightly different. Debris on the head and distributors that need cleaning, but that's a small price to pay for not having to constantly tighten distributor bolts and/or replace blown gaskets. If you're installing headers (or headers for that matter) on your AMC V8, do yourself a favor and buy them. Toss the gaskets that come with the headers in the trash where they belong and use those instead. You are really set and forgotten. Replacing blown gaskets is the WAY and you'll never have to do this again.
