Using the right nozzle to apply is life changing. I hate to sound dramatic, but learning how to use a CNC router to really learn how to use it to its full potential takes a very long time, especially if you're doing it yourself (and sometimes with online help) . For many years I never really thought about swapping my end mill for a side cutter. Then Christmas came and I made a sign for a client using pine as a substrate. As any of you know, pine is quite fibrous and can be problematic when routing difficult cuts. I looked at my test piece and thought I would spend a lot of time making it look good. I cut out the wallets so they fit in and the finish needs to look good. Then I suddenly thought of a shorter nozzle and decided to order it. I guess it's not my fault I didn't use them before as most of the things I didn't do didn't really need them, but it was. I got a new bit and tested again. Day and night! The top of the jaws, the surface to show, was sharp and clean, and I was happy as a clam (you got me too. I really don't know why a clam would be happy, but I couldn't imagine anything else ). Anyway, chalk it up to experience and I hope it can help someone else with the same problem.
