I got a new laptop and it doesn't have a VGA port which is one of the main reasons I bought it. However, I've used it for a lot more. I'm a consultant, so I regularly travel to different companies and have to give presentations. With this adapter I was able to connect to any device. Also, it's very light so it's not a hassle to carry around in your pocket all the time. The only thing I would have liked was a way to screw in the VGA connector, but overall it wasn't a big deal. The connection is secure and as long as it doesn't move during the connection, it stays fine. This is really a must if you are traveling for business!
