This is perfect for what I needed. I wanted something that would protect a marble table top. The table stays outside in a shaded area. When I actually want to use the table, I will take the vinyl cover off. I want it to protect the table between uses. I am told that during the summer when it is hot, I will want to either take it off so that it does not get too hot, stick to the table, and turn yellow or put something else under it. I I have crocheted a fitted cover to go underneath the clear vinyl during the hot summer months. I would've been happier if the price would've been a little lower for this item. I wonder if I can get the same thing for an 8 foot rectangular table.
