Review on Velo Orange Large Downtube Wheel Stabilizer: 38-62mm by Brandon Reynolds

THAT DOES NOT WORK. WEAK SPRING AND SHIT PLASTIC PARTS.

Great idea but poor execution. The only thing this should do is hold the wheel straight while loading the front rack and that doesn't work. The wheel still turns on its side, carrying the bike with it. The fender mount is a nice thick tab of metal, but the spring works fine, and the part that you tie to the bike's down tube is all plastic, which flexes under load so you can't tighten the spring enough to release yours work to do. Over-tightening the frame strap will also pinch the rear shifter cable. Maybe you could just make your own version using metal clips and a spring from a hardware store. Boooo Velo Orange you should be known for your quality stuff.
