We bought two of these. When we connect them, the sound not only goes to the headphones, it stays on the main TV. We bought them so we didn't have to listen to each other's TV shows, games, etc, but they never plugged in the headphones. mute the sound on the tv. UPDATED: Customer Service Experience. I upgraded this to 4 stars not because of the product but because this company has great customer service. As soon as they discovered we had a problem, they emailed us directly and told us how to fix the problem. We've found that our TVs just don't work with it. As soon as they found out about this they actually offered to refund the two we bought. Excellent customer service. I suspect if we had the right TV that isn't that old I think it should work.
